Special Forum: Linguistics in the Time of AI

This forum brings together linguists and language-technology researchers from across Asia to discuss how advances in artificial intelligence are reshaping linguistic science and education. Through brief presentations and open dialogue, we aim to identify emerging research directions, explore possibilities for collaborative initiatives, and strengthen academic links among institutions across the broader Asian region.

The session will begin with short presentations by Prof. Chu-Ren Huang and Prof. Shu-Kai Hsieh, followed by an open discussion focused on emerging research directions and collaborative possibilities among Asian institutions.
